- Zanobbi Strozzi (Florence, c. 1430). Antiphonal from the first Sunday of Advent to the end of Lent with 214 pages (500 x 340 mm). It includes 19 large decorated initials and two large historiated initials, one of King David in Prayer, and the other of the Christ Child. Original binding of leather-backed wooden boards. From the parish of Santa Maria sopra Porta in Florence. Strozzi illustrated a series of choirbooks for the monastery of San Marco in Florence. A painter and an illuminator, he was a follower and sometime assistant of Fra Angelico.
