- Abstract
- Elizabeth Sensabaugh (1913-2012) shares memories of her experience as a member of the Stanford University Women’s Club. Sensabaugh and her husband, George F. Sensabaugh (1906-2002), arrived at Stanford in 1938 when George joined the faculty in the Department of English. She recalls the community of faculty wives at Stanford during the Great Depression and World War II, as well as how the community of faculty families has changed. Other topics of interest include Stanford Cap and Gown and the landscape architect Thomas Church.
