Cambridge, Corpus Christi College, MS 243: pseudo-Albertus Magnus OP, Lapidarium. Prognostication Tracts
Abstract/Contents
- Summary
- CCCC MS 243 contains two texts, a thirteenth- or fourteenth-century copy of pseudo-Albertus Magnus' Lapidarium and a short, anonymous astronomical tract written in a fifteenth-century hand. James believed that the copy of the Lapidarium was in an Italian hand, but this has never been conclusively demonstrated, and the provenance of this manuscript and how it came to be in Parker's collection remain unknown.
