Fishery Regulation Boundaries, Northern, Central, and Southern Regions of California, 2002
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- This line shapefile represents the borders for regional boundaries used in California recreational fishery regulations. These polylines extend offshore at the California Oregon border, at 40° 10' latitude (near Cape Mendocino), and at 38° 00' latitude (near Pt. Reyes). These boundaries specify north, central, and south regions for the waters off the California coast as specified in fishery regulations of 2002. This layer is part of a collection of data created by the California Department of Fish and Game.
- Purpose
- This layer can be used to represent the regional boundaries off of the California Coast.
