- Ruiz's paper on a technique for stimulating the vibrations of strings with a digital computer done at the Bell Telephone Laboratories in 1969. Results of the analyses were presented in the form of graphs via a Stromberg-Carlson 4020 Microfilm plotter and the sound syntheses recorded on tape.
