- This line shapefile represents geographically significant reference latitudes and longitudes for the world such as the equator, tropics, Arctic and Antarctic Circles, prime meridian, and International Date Line. Data are represented ata 1:4,000,000 scale. This layer is part of the 2014 ESRI Data and Maps collection for ArcGIS 10.2.
- Purpose
- World Named Latitudes and Longitudes provides geographically significant latitude and longitude lines of reference for use as an overlay for world level maps.
